Ok – so you don’t see donut charts that often. Pie charts in general are much better at indicating the actual share – but the donut (torus) is a nice change and can look a little more photo-realistic.
We’re testing some different materials/textures for our charts. Glass is still one of our favorites for default charts, but this looks pretty good too. Do you have a favorite? We’ll keep posting different types so let us know what you think.
If you need to represent data very accurately or have a substantial number of data points, 3D charts are probably not your best choice.
